Premiership stats and tips

Saturday 18th May

Celtic v St. Mirren - Win / Draw / Win - home win

It's all eyes on Celtic at the moment. They've won 5 consecutive Premiership outings, and Brendan Rodgers will be desperate to continue that form as they go into battle with St. Mirren at Celtic Park on Saturday lunch time.

Dundee v Kilmarnock - Win / Draw / Win - away win

Losing streaks can be incredibly difficult to break, but that's exactly what must be done by Dundee boss T. Docherty on Saturday. His players face Kilmarnock having failed to get anything but defeat out of their last 4 Premiership matches.

Hearts v Rangers - Over / Under 3.5 Goals - under

Rangers travel to Heart of Midlothian for this Saturday lunch time clash. 11 of our members think it will wind up with fewer than 4 goals. That could mean anything from a 0-0 to an entertaining, end-to-end 2-1 win for one side or another. It does rule out a real humdinger though.

Sunday 19th May

Livingston v Hibernian - Half Time / Full Time - away+away

Livingston will be hoping not to add to the 13 times they have already been losing at both halftime and fulltime this term when they play Hibernian on Sunday. David Martindale's team already top the rest of the Premiership in that area, and won't want to make it any worse. Opposing boss N. Montgomery , on the other hand, will be feeling very differently.

Motherwell v St. Johnstone - Double Chance - home win or draw

Supporting your team home and away can be draining, and St. Johnstone’s long-suffering follows know that only too well right now. Their club, led by C. Levein, is now winless in their previous 5 Premiership matches, and the clouds hardly look like parting against Motherwell at Fir Park on Sunday afternoon. Backing opposition boss S. Kettlewell to add another to that list by inspiring his lads to anything other than a defeat can be bet on at best odds of 1.40.

Ross County v Aberdeen - Double Chance - away win or draw

N. Warnock and his Aberdeen side have found a handy habit of taking something from pretty much every Premiership fixture they play. They're unbeaten in 8 in the Premiership now, so D. Cowie and his Ross County charges will need to be on top of their game if they're to get the win at Victoria Park on Sunday.
